The Robins Nest; Decor, South West, with rich wood textures and sticks and
twigs and of course an awesome panoramic view from either the king bed or Spanish
tile balcony of mountains, ocean, bay and river. Watch the Bald Eagles fish, the Grey
Whales feed and the migrating waterfowl swirl over the bay or stream by in that long
ragged line on the horizon on their way to the next stopover.

The private bath is accented in "Old Growth" Spruce, antiques and features a
colorful Spanish tile stall shower big enough for two. These accommodations include
in room TV, robes, hair dryer and curling iron. Coffee and tea are available at the
condiment bar just out side your door.

Filled with antiques and collectibles, "The Burd's Nest Inn has been a favorite port
of call for travelers from all over the world. The sumptuous rooms are located in
the second story added new in 1989 capitalizing on the elevated panoramic views
to the mountains, ocean, bay and river. A marble fire place is the center of
attraction in the living room with a unique flight of stairs to the featured rooms.
A coffee and tea bar is provided just out side of your door. Guests are encouraged
to mingle and share our home. Many local attractions are as close as a short walk
or as far as a short drive. If you are into the flora and fauna, seventy eight species
of birds have been observed. We have at least two families of Raccoons living on
the property, deer frequently amble through. Two coyotes were seen strolling up
the driveway a bear was spotted leaving the property several years ago....he has
not returned, in the late evening you may see a bat or two, a Great Horned Owl and
an Opossum. After a decade and a half of living here I would not be surprised by
anything I might see.
