The Inn Now:
Located on 1.5 acres, covered with natural vegitation and many
mature conifers. Marble fireplace, year 'round creek on property. Country Spanish decor with tiled balconies. Multi-color tile roof. Guests have use of entire inn and grounds. Color TV with 2 movie channels. Delicious "Gourmet" Breakfast served by candlelight in formal dining room. Afternoon Refreshments. Second story views to ocean, river and bay.
The Inn Then:
Constructed in 1947 and dubbed "Dream Vista" built by a Nurseryman
from inland Oregon. He landscaped the property with many rare plants and trees. Years later he sold the property to a Lumberman. A few years passed and the lumber man and his family moved leaving the house and grounds vacant for 15 years. It was purchased by the present owners in 1985.
The Proprietors:
Burd and Joni Left Balboa Island, California. Sold a manufacturing
company and purchased the abandoned home. Remodeling was undertaken during the next four years at which time the owners decided to become a Bed and Breakfast and share the charm and joy of there home with others.
